Name on the front, your number on the back — in colour-through text that can never wear off. Featherweight, no jingle against the council tag, designed live in 3D and printed to order in Melbourne.
Tip: phone + suburb is plenty — skip the full address for your privacy.
Engraved text is recessed deep into the tag. Two-colour prints the text as a second colour running the full depth — it physically cannot wear off.
A tiny NFC chip is sealed inside the tag. Anyone who finds your pet taps it with their phone and your number comes up to call — no app, no battery, nothing to wear off. We program your phone number in before shipping, or choose your own option (SMS, a web link) — and you can change it any time with a free NFC app. 25 mm round or 21 × 11 mm rectangular NTAG213 in stock, included. Smaller chip? Ask in the order notes.
Swatches are the Bambu Lab PLA Basic range — preview colours only; the filament we print your tag in is matched to the shade you pick, and the exact tone can vary slightly from the render.
Ordering two? Add another tag after checkout — handy for the other pet or door.

Reinforced hanging loop (Ø5 mm hole) + quality split ring included. Tough PETG, rounded edges, safe next to the council tag. Sealed NFC chip adds A$2 (tag goes to 3.4 mm) — 25 mm round or 21 × 11 mm rectangular NTAG213 in stock, programmed before shipping. Made to order in 3–5 days.
A round pet tag made in this studio: Jade White PLA with the lettering raised in Cobalt Blue and an NTAG213 chip sealed inside — the phone shot is the tap opening a link. Printed in Melbourne on a Bambu Lab printer, no post-processing. Tap a photo to enlarge.

Engraved metal tags fade until they're unreadable, and they jingle against the council tag all day. Ours are one solid piece of tough PETG with the lettering running all the way through the tag in a second colour — there's nothing on the surface to wear off. They're silent against other tags, and light enough for cats and small dogs (our cat size is about 2 grams — lighter than a 5-cent coin).
Tick Add NFC chip and a Ø25.6 × 1.0 mm cavity appears at mid-thickness for the 25 mm NTAG213 sticker we keep in stock — the default; we program it before shipping. Both faces of a pet tag carry text, so there is no open pocket: the tag goes to 3.4 mm, the print pauses at the layer the studio names, the tag drops in and the print seals over it with 1.2 mm of filament each side. There is 2.5 mm of tag all round the chip and it stays clear of the hanging loop — the studio raises the size for you, greys out the sizes that are too small, and tells you when a shape is too narrow (a bone tag always is; the 25 mm sticker needs a Round tag, Medium or larger). We program it with your phone number so a tap brings up a call to you — or pick your own option (SMS, a web link) and change it any time with a free NFC app. More ideas: Read the full guide: NFC tags, reading, writing & best practice →
Front: your pet's name. Back: a phone number and suburb is all a finder needs — leaving off the full address is safer. Add the MICROCHIPPED line to tell a finder (or vet) a scan will bring up your details. This tag hangs beside your council registration tag; it doesn't replace it.
