NFC Wi-Fi tag for guest Wi-Fi — Melbourne made, from A$10.99

An NFC Wi-Fi tag is a 3D-printed tag from Formada3D with a sealed NTAG213 chip programmed with your network name and password. Sit it by the router, on the counter or at reception, and a guest taps their phone on it instead of asking for the password or typing it in. Made to order in Melbourne, shipped Australia-wide and to New Zealand, from A$10.99 with the chip included.

No app, no subscription, no fees. Chip included and programmed.

Guest Wi-Fi tag for a café, salon or reception desk

This is the tag most cafés, salons, clinics and real-estate offices reach for first: one tag on the counter, and every guest joins the same way instead of the staff reading out a password twenty times a day.

How a guest actually taps it

Being honest about phones here matters more than a nice sales line — see the full NFC tags guide for the complete record-by-record table.

Price

From A$10.99, chip included, built in the NFC Tag Designer (opens with the Wi-Fi preset selected). Bigger sizes, more characters or a thicker tag add a small amount — the designer shows the exact price as you build it. Made to order in 3–5 days, printed and shipped from Melbourne.

For businesses

Fitting out a café, salon, clinic or real-estate office with more than one tag — front desk, back office, meeting room? We do small batches with the same Wi-Fi details programmed onto every tag. Add the quantity and any per-tag naming to the order notes when you check out from the designer, or send us the details directly.

FAQ

Does an NFC Wi-Fi tag connect an iPhone automatically?

Not automatically — iPhones don't join a network from a background NFC tap the way most Androids do. We pair the tag with a link or a Shortcut so an iPhone user still gets there in one or two taps.

Does an Android phone really join the Wi-Fi with one tap?

On most Android phones with NFC on, yes — tapping a tag holding a Wi-Fi record opens a prompt to join, and one confirm joins it. A few manufacturers restrict background NFC actions; those phones show a notification to tap instead.

Can I add my logo?

Yes — build the tag with your logo and the Wi-Fi icon in the NFC Tag Designer, or print your logo full-size on a plaque with a chip pocket in the Business Logo Maker.

How is this different to an acrylic Wi-Fi sign?

An acrylic sign is a laser-cut panel with a QR code and often an embedded NFC chip, usually made to order by a signage company. Ours is a solid 3D-printed tag or plaque, smaller and cheaper, with the same sealed NFC chip.

Can I change the Wi-Fi password later?

Yes, unless you ask us to lock the tag. Rewrite it yourself with any free NFC app, or send us the new details and we'll reprogram it.

Where is it made and how fast does it ship?

Printed to order in Melbourne, made in 3–5 days, and shipped Australia-wide and to New Zealand.
