The Paint Tower is our biggest vertical rack and the first one that ships completely flat: two leaning wings, plates, shelves, wedges and pins — no screws, no glue, no tools. It stacks up to 68 paints on five working levels, and with the riser gallery on top it reaches 106 paints on the same desk footprint. This guide explains how the kit works and which of the two versions fits your bench.

Where the 68 paints go
- 3 plate levels — 14 bottles each in angled teardrop notch rows, locked in with printed wedges
- 2 ladder shelves — 10 bottles each, dropped into raked slots on the upper wings (choose your heights)
- 6 universal wells on the ramped top plate — each one takes a Citadel pot or a dropper bottle natively, no adapters
The flat-pack part
Every joint is tab-and-slot with a printed wedge tapped in behind it — the same joinery as our Gallery Ladder. Wedges pull the joint tight and can be re-tightened forever; snap pins lock the upper wings to the base. Assembly is a few minutes with no hardware, and it comes apart just as fast if you move desks.
Anti-tip by design: the base wings' feet run level with the rearmost point of the structure, so a loaded tower presses into the desk instead of rotating backwards. We load-tested the final feet before release.
The riser gallery on top
The riser version adds a pin-locked rail across the wing tops carrying two posts and three display shelves. When you order it you choose a Shelf Setup: all Vallejo/dropper shelves (up to 38 more bottles), or swap any of them for Citadel stagger shelves that hold 11 pots each — so a mixed Vallejo + Citadel wall is a dropdown choice, not a custom order.
Print it yourself instead
Like the rest of the range, the tower is also available as a digital STL pack — 18 support-free files covering both versions, with per-part print orientations and the assembly guide included.

How many paints does the tower hold?
Up to 68 on the tower alone — three plate levels of 14, two ladder shelves of 10, and 6 universal wells on the top plate. With the riser gallery on top it reaches up to 106.
Does it need screws or glue?
No. The whole kit is tab-and-slot joinery locked with printed wedges and snap pins — it assembles in minutes and can be re-tightened or taken apart any time.
Will it tip over when loaded?
The base wings' feet extend level with the structure's rearmost point, so the tower stands inside its own footprint. We load-tested the final feet design before release.
Can it hold Citadel pots too?
Yes — the top plate carries 6 universal wells that take a Citadel pot or a dropper bottle natively, and the riser gallery accepts Citadel stagger shelves (11 pots each) in place of dropper shelves.
What's the difference between the two versions?
The Tower ($34.99) is the 5-level rack. The Tower + Riser ($64.99) adds the rail-mounted gallery on top with three more display shelves and a Shelf Setup choice — all-Vallejo or mixed Vallejo/Citadel.
