Arrives finished. No glue, no clamps, no Saturday. Printed as one solid piece and posted from Melbourne ready to use. Flat-pack MDF racks arrive as a kit — wood glue and clamps you supply yourself, a couple of evenings of assembly, and drawers that wear out. This is not that.
Spin. Pick. Paint. The Rotating Paint Carousel puts 57 dropper bottles within a flick of your fingers — three tilted tiers of teardrop wells, every label facing out and up, and the whole rotor spins on a printed bearing so the back row comes to you.
Designed and 3D printed to order in Melbourne, Australia. Compatible with Vallejo, The Army Painter and AK Interactive dropper bottles — not affiliated with or endorsed by these brands.
Colour & finish. Each piece is printed to order, so slight colour or sheen differences can occur between filament batches. Fine layer lines are part of the 3D-printed finish. This doesn't affect strength or fit.
Which paint bottles fit the Rotating Paint Carousel?
The wells are sized for 17/18 ml dropper bottles — Vallejo, The Army Painter, AK Interactive and other dropper-style paints — with 57 wells across three tilted tiers, every label facing out and up. It is not made for 32 mm Citadel-style pots; for those see the Paint Rack 44 for Citadel pots.
Corner Base or Round Base — which should I choose?
Both hold the same 57-bottle rotor. The Corner Base has a square back so the carousel tucks flush into a desk or room corner; the Round Base works anywhere on a bench and can be turned to any angle. Pick Corner if it will live in a corner, otherwise Round.
How does it spin, and does it need bearings or hardware?
The rotor turns on a printed pivot — no ball bearings, screws or hardware to buy. It arrives finished as a two-part design: the rotor lifts straight off the base for cleaning, and the spin gets smoother with use.
How big is the carousel and how much desk space does it take?
Approximately 32 cm across and 10 cm tall before bottles. It holds 57 dropper bottles plus 6 graduated brush holes in the centre hub. If you need a fixed rack with a drawer instead of a spinner, the Paint Rack 60 dropper bottle stand holds 60 in a 4-tier footprint.
What material is the Rotating Paint Carousel printed in?
Printed in plant-based PLA — made from renewable plant sugars (corn & sugarcane), not petroleum — with a lower carbon footprint than traditional plastics. Every order is printed to order in Melbourne, so there's no mass-production waste and nothing sitting in a warehouse.
