Best Pokémon Card Cases in Melbourne, Australia

The best Pokémon card case for a graded (PSA/CGC/BGS) slab is a fitted crate or box with a calibrated wedge or seat, not a generic drawer — it stops the slab moving, keeps the cert label visible, and closes with hidden magnets. Formada3D designs and 3D prints these to order in Melbourne and ships them Australia-wide (and to the US): the Graded Slab Crate (3-10 slots, from $34.99), the Custom Engraved Slab Box for a single standout card ($39.99), and the Slab Stand for a lean-back desk display ($19.99).

Pokémon is a trademark of Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. Formada3D is an independent Melbourne workshop and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of those companies — our cases are sized to fit standard graded card slabs generally, Pokémon slabs included.

Which case fits PSA-graded Pokémon cards?

Every Formada3D card case is built around the same print-calibrated wedge or seat that fits standard graded slabs — Pokémon or otherwise. The Graded Slab Crate seats each slab in a calibrated wedge slot so it drops in, sits snug at the same height every time, and the front cutout keeps the cert label readable without lifting the slab out. It comes in 3, 5 or 10-slot sizes (57-147mm wide), and custom crates run up to 26 slots on our large-format printer. CGC and TAG slabs fit the same slot; thicker BGS cases fit the custom sizes — mention your grader in the order notes and we'll confirm fit before printing.

For a single card that deserves its own spotlight — a graded Charizard, a chase pull, a first-edition holo — the Custom Engraved Slab Box is a one-slab keepsake box with the card's own name, grade and cert number engraved into the lid, typeset per order with a preview before printing.

What about raw cards and booster packs?

Our current Pokémon-relevant range is built for graded slabs, not loose or sleeved raw cards, deck boxes or sealed booster packs. If most of your collection is ungraded, our workshop has raw-card and deck-box designs in development (a bulk sleeved-card vault holding roughly 800 cards has been prototyped) — get in touch if you want to be told when they're ready to order, or browse the wider Card Storage line for what's currently shipping.

Are the cases made in Melbourne?

Yes. Every case is designed and 3D printed to order in our Melbourne workshop — nothing is imported or mass-produced. Turnaround is typically 3-5 days to print, then tracked shipping Australia-wide (and to the US). Because each order is printed rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf, colours (15 available), lid text and custom sizing are all made-to-order options, not pre-set SKUs.

What about raw cards and booster packs?

Our current shipping range is built for graded slabs, not loose or sleeved raw cards or sealed booster packs — a bulk raw-card vault is in development. If you mainly collect ungraded cards, get in touch and we'll let you know when it's ready.
