A sturdy desk stand for the MV7 and MV7+ podcast microphones. The wide Ø180 mm base is printed dense on purpose, so the stand stays planted with the mic fitted and angled towards you, and the top screws in on a self-centring joint so the column runs straight with no step at the seam.
In the box: the base with column and the short top piece in Fit A and Fit B. Short + Tall also includes the 2 in extension top in Fit A and Fit B. The microphone and cable are not included. Photos show the stand in white.
Fits: Shure MV7 and MV7+ (5/8"-27 thread mount). It also suits other desktop microphones with a 5/8"-27 thread mount that weigh up to about 0.65 kg. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Shure; the brand name is used only to describe fit.
Care: screw the top pieces in by hand only, no tools. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. PETG softens at about 70 °C, so keep the stand away from heaters and out of hot cars.
Desk use. Designed to hold one desktop microphone of up to about 0.65 kg, such as the MV7 / MV7+, on a flat, level desk. Screw the top piece in by hand only (no tools) and check the mic is snug on the thread before use. Keep the cable slack so it can't pull the stand over. Not for boom arms, overhead or wall mounting. PETG softens at about 70 °C, so keep it away from heaters and out of hot cars. Damage caused by overloading, over-tightening, modification, or use the product isn't designed for isn't a fault in the product. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Colour & finish. This product is made of several printed parts, so slight colour or sheen differences can occur between parts printed from different filament batches. Fine layer lines are part of the 3D-printed finish. This doesn't affect strength or fit.
What material is the Microphone Desk Stand Compatible with Shure MV7 / MV7+ printed in?
Printed in plant-based PLA — made from renewable plant sugars (corn & sugarcane), not petroleum — with a lower carbon footprint than traditional plastics. Every order is printed to order in Melbourne, so there's no mass-production waste and nothing sitting in a warehouse.
