Installation & use. Designed to hold the Mac mini M4 only. Mount it to a solid desk in good condition, following the included guide, with screws or bolts suited to your desk (not included). Check the fixings are tight before use and every few months, and don't load anything else on it. Not covered: damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable surfaces, modification, impacts, or loads beyond what it is designed for. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Colour & finish. Each piece is printed to order, so slight colour or sheen differences can occur between filament batches. Fine layer lines are part of the 3D-printed finish. This doesn't affect strength or fit.
Which Mac mini fits this under-desk mount?
It is designed specifically for the Mac mini M4 (2024): the cavity is 135 × 135 × 60 mm, so the M4 sits snug in the tray. It is not compatible with the M1 or M2 Mac mini, which have different dimensions. Running a Mac Studio as well? The Mac mini M4 + Mac Studio combo mount holds both side by side, and the Mac Studio cage mount is the Studio-only version for the same desk.
What screws do I need, and is the hardware included?
Hardware is not included. You need 8× M5 screws (12.5 mm total length) and 8× M5 washers (10 mm diameter); the screws bite about 4 mm into the desk surface and sit flush in the eight countersunk holes. Screwdriver access slots are aligned to every mounting point, so you tighten everything from below.
Does the Mac mini need a VESA mount for this?
No VESA adapter is needed and this mount does not use VESA holes at all: the tray cradles the whole computer and the top plate screws straight into the underside of the desk through the eight countersunk holes. The hole layout is suited to the Secretlab Magnus Pro desk.
Will the Mac mini overheat mounted under the desk?
The tray floor has a ventilation ring pattern that keeps air moving around the Mac mini, and the mount is printed in PETG, which is rigid and heat-resistant, so it does not sag or warp under a desk over time.
