Connect your AI assistant to Formada3D

Ask your AI for a part, in your own words. Through our MCP server it can search our 3D-printed products and business parts catalogue, price items from our design studios, get an instant quote for your own 3D file, check which material suits the job, track your order, and give you a link to review and pay on our site.

What it can do

• Find parts: shop products (paint racks, organisers, planters, mounts, kids' track parts, letters, STL files) and the business parts catalogue (gripper fingers, sensor enclosures, brackets, grid organisers, NFC stands) with live prices.
• Quote your STL: upload or link an STL, 3MF or OBJ and get our quote engine's price, print time, size and printability checks, plus a review-and-pay link.
• Check materials: 25 materials with typical heat, strength and tolerance values, what each is good or bad for, and datasheet links, with our suitable-use notes.
• Track your order: give your order reference and the email you ordered with, and it reports received / printing / shipped with the carrier and tracking link. Nothing is shown without both matching.

search_products, get_product, list_categories	Search the shop; full product detail with options, every variant's live price, images, lead time and shipping.
list_parts, get_part	The business parts catalogue, live from business.formada3d.com/parts/: specs, what it fits, option prices, availability, safety notes and FAQ.
start_order, cart_permalink	A link that fills your Formada3D cart (or opens your quote) so you review and pay yourself. The AI never pays.
get_quote, get_saved_quote, quote_options	Instant price for your own STL, 3MF or OBJ (by link or upload): our quote engine slices it and returns price, grams, print time, size, printability checks and a review-and-pay link. STEP/IGES: use /quote/.
materials_guide	All 25 materials from our live materials data: typical values, good/avoid lists, datasheets, and the materials and suitable-use notes (terms §10).
order_status	Status, carrier and tracking for your own order. Needs the order reference and the exact email used for the order; shows no address or payment details.
find_or_design	Plain-language need → matching products, the design studio that makes it, or a custom design path.
list_design_studios, price_cookie_cutter, price_stamp, price_nfc_tag, price_pet_id_tag, price_logo_plaque, price_letters, price_slab_box, price_terrain_roller	Prices from the same formulas our studios and checkout use, plus the studio link to design it.

Good to know

• Every item is printed to order in Melbourne and dispatched in 3–5 business days. Express 48 h is available on instant quotes (+30%).
• Shipping: Australia A$10 (free over A$100), New Zealand A$15, US A$20, most other countries A$25 (not the UK or Brazil).
• Instant quotes have an A$8 minimum per order. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is added.
• Payment happens only on our Stripe checkout page, by you. Business accounts can order on invoice/PO.
• Order status is shown only to the email the order was placed with: reference + email must both match, and the reply holds status, carrier and tracking only.
• Material figures are typical datasheet values for the raw material, not guaranteed properties of a printed part; parts are prototypes or general-purpose parts unless we agree a specification (terms §10).
• Files sent for a quote are stored by our quote engine like any quote upload (30 days unless ordered). Enquiry details are kept only to reply.
